Dawn and her family moved to Douglas in 2021 when her oldest child was in 1st grade. She started attending PTO meetings that same year and quickly became more involved. Dawn has been in charge of the elementary school store and recess committee prior to taking on the roll as secretary.

Dawn has two sons, ages 8 and 6, and a daughter, age 3. This will be the first year all three kids will be in school, with the youngest starting preschool. Dawn is also a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 316. Outside of volunteering, she enjoys hiking with her family and exploring all the local trails. She is also well on her way to making her goal of reading 50 books for the year!
