If you are interested in joining a committee or becoming a committee coordinator here are descriptions of the positions available. All committee coordinator and member position require one school year commitment. 
 
 
Corporate Donations Committee
We need the support from our community and beyond. The coordinator and/or committee is responsible to proactively approach various Corporations and local business to solicit donations in the form of products (including gift cards and services) to be raffled off during various fundraising events. And to solicit any cash donations to be made directly to the PTO.  
 
Fundraising Committee
Fundraising is an essential part of our PTO. The coordinator and/or committee will work with the Co-chairs to find new and exciting fundraising opportunities as well as help them execute the fundraisers. This includes creating flyers, setting up a kick-off assembly, getting volunteers, processing orders, delivery and follow-up. 
 
 
Rewards Committee
This coordinator and/or committee is responsible for collecting, counting and submitting Box Tops on a monthly basis to determine the monthly class trophy winner. Distribute information about additional rewards programs throughout the year. They will be responsible to make sure that items are collected from the post office and Unibank bins for Box Tops and ink cartridges. They will also be responsible for looking for additional programs that can be added for fundraising. The coordinator will follow the guidelines provided by various programs for submission dates.
 
 
Community Relations Committee
It is important that the PTO helps families in need in our community. This coordinator and/or committee is responsible for fostering community services projects. This would include reaching and finding opportunities within our community Then communicating and coordinating collection drives. 
 
Family Events
This coordinator and/or committee will work with the Co-chairs to provide fun family friendly events through the year. This would include brainstorming ideas and help execute the chosen events. This includes creating flyers, setting up events, getting volunteers and clean up after event.
 
 
Staff Appreciation 
Throughout the year, PTO tries to remind the teachers and staff how much they are appreciated.The coordinator and/or committee is responsible for creating themes for our bimonthly staff appreciation luncheons. They are also responsible for organizing the event from scheduling, soliciting donations/volunteers, communications, setup and cleanup.
 
 
Spiritwear/School Store
We love to have our town show their school spirit. The coordinator and/or committee is responsible for ordering spirit wear, for regular inventory checks, making sure our online inventory system is up to date including photographing items available for sale. The are responsible for ordering and stocking the school store that is available to students on the last Friday of every month during their lunch period. As well as communication with parents and students and requesting volunteers and managing that schedule. Also responsible for selling spirit wear at additional events including other family events and the towns Oktoberfest. They are responsible for the SquareUp equipment and account.
 
 
Recess Committee
It is important to our students that they have items to play with at recess. The coordinator and/or committee is responsible for maintaining a steady flow of items or the recess bins at the Primary and Elementary schools and submitting requests for additional items on an as needed basis.
